WINTER GAZE
When October waned with the midnight moon
Lenmawi, thou hadst promis'd to meet me soon
Were those words faltered with November rain?
Would all those sweet dreams be stumbled in vain?
Oh! Lenmawi, my love, winter is coming
Yet in my heart love shalt still be shining;
Tell not me, what whinning winter shall bring
Tell me, of the flowers that will bloom in spring.
The cresent moon hangs high in the mid sky
While the evening breeze gently weeps with sigh
I then heard the whisper of a sparrow:
When today is done what of tomorrow?
Lenmawi, if you could fill the void with kiss,
I'll taste the nectar of celestial bliss!
